Weatherford is a Kincaid original and is made from solid New Zealand Pine. It takes a number of design and construction techniques from the early wood workers. The two finishes are: Cornsilk - a lighter, almost white color reminiscent of a time-worn painted fence or Heather - a gray-brown blend inspired by weathered barns. Weatherford combines the best of modern furniture features with the authentic benefits of solid wood in an heirloom-quality construction.
All spills should be wiped as soon as possible, including food or beverage residue. We recommend a microfiber cloth dampened with one tablespoon of distilled vinegar to one quart of distilled water. Wipe in direction of the grain. Use clean, soft cloth to dry. Avoid the use of oily polishes or waxes.
To prevent color change, avoid direct sunlight for long periods of time or rotate often for even exposure. To avoid cracking, do not expose to extreme humidity or temperature. Do not place extremely hot or cold drinks directly on the finish. Avoid the use of rubber, vinyl and plastics such as placemats and lamp pads, which may deteriorate finish. We recommend using cloth-backed items for these purposes.
